Elan’s rethinked and redesigned interiors

We are glad to announce Elan initiated a complete redesign of the interior across both the Elan performance and Impression cruiser yachts range. The recent cooperation of the in-house Elan Design Team, the R&D department responsible for every new project in the shipyard, with the acclaimed design agency Gigodesign is already evident in the latest addition to the Impression cruiser range, the Elan Impression 494. One’s first notion is of a much larger space, thanks to the inverted layout. The open space social area is now located right in front of the companionway, taking advantage of the yacht’s full beam. With added functionalities like the integrated handrails, stylish atmospheric lighting and distinctive styling allround, the interior is a pleasant place to be.

Barcolana, world’s largest single-start regatta partners with Elan

The Società Velica di Barcola e Grignano has signed a collaboration agreement with Elan, which in 2012 will become one of the technical partners of the Barcolana. As a joint effort to promote their common values and competitive spirit, Elan will promote the regatta on boat shows as well as reach out to Elan boat owners. With more than 100 Elan boats entering the regatta every year, our brand has had a strong presence at Barcolana. The club’s President Vincenzo Spina adds: “Last year we started to set up separate ranking lists involving monotypes with at least 10 boats competing: the formula of the regatta and its success show that the boat owners sign up for the Barcolana to take part in the race, to win in their category but also to beat the next boat, or adversary and obtain the greatest sporting satisfaction in beating the boat owner with the same boat type, winning in this way a race within a race”. We feel that Barcolana’s attitude and culture is very close to our company and yacht owners and find this initiative a great way to showcase the quality and competitiveness of our yachts.

A new star is born: the launch of Impression 494

Our latest launch, the blue-water cruiser Elan Impression 494 will impress with her unprecedented levels of comfort aboard, her completely rethinked and redesigned interior featuring the main social area at yacht’s full beam, superb sailing characteristics, easy handling even when short-handed and smart solutions like the twin rudder – twin wheel system and the bow and stern thrusters. Inspired by the latest trends in modern open plan architecture, the yacht will appeal to the cruising man, looking to make ocean passages as well as leisure cruises in the Caribbean.

Duvetica chooses Elan 210s for the first boat sharing fleet in the Med

The first boat sharing fleet in this part of the world was born in Venice, Italy at the Compagnia della Vela Yacht Club as the result of the joint effort between AdriaShip, Elan’s dealership in Italy, Duvetica, the acclaimed clothing brand and Elan headquarters. Located directly in fronf of the San Marco square, the fleet will be available to club members for trips around the stunning Venetian lagoon as well as regional regattas. The boats are perfect for job, thanks to its special hull design and custom-made shorter keel, allowing sailors to reach each and every island in the Venetian lagoon. We are proud to be present at the heart of one of the most scenic places in the world.

Exciting 2013 model editions

The new, 2013 model year edition is bringing compelling novelties to both the performance and cruising range.

Elan Impression 394 & 444, 2013 edition
Starting with the latter, the Impression 394 and 444 models will receive a complete interior restyling, mirroring the recently launched Impression 494 with integrated handrails, new control panel design, frameless doors, atmospheric lighting and standard front opening fridge. They will feature three new white oak, teak and wenge wood options and consequenlty two floorboards colours. With five different colour schemes for interior fabrics, every yacht can be equipped with coordinated bed linings, fitted sheets, cabin and settee pillows, towels, bathrobes etc.

Elan 210, 310 & 350, 2013 edition
The Elan performance range will be get a major upgrade in the interior, exterior and construction. The entry boat, Elan 210 will feature a newly developed keel with less draft, yet same overall stability curve and a mechanical keel lifting system. Both the Elan 310 and 350 will feature GRP toe rails, integrated chartplotter holders near the helm, a simpler bowsprit launch system, optional liferaft storage space and mainsheet track leveled with the cockpit floor. The interior will follow with a complete restyling and functional upgrades, as seen on the Impression line.
